Sheperd Street Mews

The project was a three story building with two thirds of an acre in a dense urban area. The building was an unused electrical power substation from the 1930’s. The building was set in a row of joined single family homes and the balance of the lot was accessed through an archway incorporated into the existing building. The building was divided up into five condominium units between 750 and 850 sq ft. To the rear of the building were constructed nine three story zero lot line townhouses in a c ourtyard setting. Each townhouse was three stories. On the ground floor was the entry door, landing area, utility room and single car garage with stairs up to the first floor where you had an open plan dining room, kitchen lounge, half bath and stairs up to the second floor with one bedroom with three quarter bath and the master bedroom and full bath.
